Updates published: The SCC Guidelines for Arbitrators and SCC Platform Guidelines
The SCC Guidelines for Arbitrators serve as a practical tool and source of information for arbitrators appointed in SCC arbitrations.
The Guidelines do not constitute a commentary on SCC arbitration, but rather answer practical questions regarding case administration, arbitration costs, timelines, common VAT situations, and the structure and contents of the final award. The Guidelines have been updated to reflect some changes to the financial aspects of the case administration, such as regarding arbitrator expenses and hearing costs. Read the updated Guidelines here.
For questions not addressed in the Guidelines, or for discussion on the application of certain rules, arbitrators are invited to contact the legal counsel or case administrator assigned to the case.
In addition to the Arbitrator Guidelines, the SCC Platform Guidelines have been revised 25 May 2020 and can be found here.
