SCC Online Seminar Menu
The SCC is pleased to announce the launch of its Online Seminar Menu. This is an initiative introduced to maintain the dialogue with our users and other stakeholders, notwithstanding the many recent cancellations of conferences and events where the SCC would have contributed as speaker and/or organizer.
As new challenges face our community and society at large there is reason to be proactive and adapt to present circumstances.
The developing situation concerning the spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus), is affecting our industry in a multitude of ways, including by the cancellation of several events and international conferences around the world. Such events would have provided legal professionals a great opportunity to network, and an arena in which to exchange views and information on topical issues relevant to the development of international arbitration.
At the same time, the many changes in travel plans over the past few weeks have served as an important reminder of the many options available to continue the conversation online, and the potential positive impact this development could have for climate change mitigation and adaptation purposes.
Therefore, in an effort to continue the dialogue on topics of relevance for the international arbitration community and our users, the SCC is pleased to introduce the SCC Online Seminar Menu:
- SCC Platform
- Automation and Arbitration
- Negotiating a dispute resolution clause
- Arbitration at the SCC
- Arbitration and Climate Change
The SCC welcomes private practitioners, law firms, in-house legal teams and academia to choose the seminar of their choice from the menu and send a request via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. It is possible to request a combination of the different seminars or otherwise customize a seminar for the attendees.
A member of the SCC team will be in contact and further discuss the details of the event to be planned.
