SCC Board News
The Stockholm Chamber of Commerce welcomes Charlotta Falkman as Chairperson of the SCC Board, and Crina Baltag as a new Member of the SCC Board.
Charlotta Falkman has served as Acting Chairperson of the SCC Board since 23 December 2019. She has been a member of the SCC Board since 1 January 2016 and was appointed vice chairperson as of 1 January 2019. Charlotta Falkman is a partner with Gernandt & Danielsson in Stockholm.

Crina Baltag is Senior Lecturer in International Arbitration at Stockholm University. She joined Stockholm University in January 2020 from Queen Mary University School of International Arbitration in London where she served as Visiting Lecturer. Crina Baltag is also one of the very first alumni from the Master of Law program International Commercial Arbitration Law at Stockholm University (2006).
SCC Board members are appointed by the Board of Directors of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. The SCC Board convenes monthly and plays an active and central role in ensuring the efficient administration of SCC arbitral proceedings.
The Board’s mandate includes the appointment of arbitrators, decisions on challenges to arbitrators, jurisdictional determinations, and procedural decisions regarding, for instance, the number of arbitrators and applicable rules.
