New Report: Emergency Arbitrator Decisions in Investment Disputes

A recently published report examines Emergency Arbitrator Decision in investor-state disputes under the SCC Rules.

The report covers Emergency Arbitrator Decisions between 2014-2019 and examines ten decisions. It includes an overview of specific procedural issues in a treaty-based investor-state dispute context, the types of interim measure requested, and criteria used in assessing the interim relief sought.

The author Alexey Pirozhkin produced the report as part of his internship with the SCC in the spring of 2020.
