The SCC Board met in Stockholm
On 5 September, the SCC board members met in Stockholm for the Annual Board meeting. Together with the secretariat, the Board discussed current policy issues linked to the work of the SCC, but also to international arbitration in general.
The SCC Board meets once a month to make decisions related to the SCC case administration, such as decisions regarding prima facie jurisdiction, appointment of arbitrators, challenge to arbitrators and the costs of the arbitration. More than half of the fifteen board members are based outside of Sweden why some members therefore attend these meetings via telephone and others in Stockholm.
However, the Annual Board meeting is an opportunity for all, and especially for the new board members, to meet in person. See pictures from the meeting below.
