The Quiet Triumph in Rome
The world tour of The Quiet Triumph: How Arbitration Changed the World continues in 2018. The first screening this year will be in Rome on 9 February 2018.
Since the premiere in Stockholm on 19 January 2017, The Quiet Triumph has been screened in fourteen cities in four different continents. From New York to Kuala Lumpur, Beijing to San Salvador, thousands have attended the screenings organized by various organizations.
This year, the world tour will kick off with a screening in Rome co-organized by Legance Avvocati Associati, International Chamber of Commerce Italy, Milan Chamber of Arbitration, Loyola University of Chicago School of Law and the SCC. The event will take place on 9 February 2018 at Legance offices in Rome, following a special lesson held by Cecilia Carrara from Legance for the ProLaw LLM Students.
Ms Carrara says: “We feel very honored to host a screening of ‘The Quiet Triumph’ in Italy. We wish to second the relevance of international arbitration at a global level as an important means of dispute settlement, and we feel that only by knowing and appreciating the history and the past challenges may one contribute responsibly to the future developments. In this sense the documentary value of The Quiet Triumph goes beyond simple promotion of legal services, and we believe that it can be an inspiring film for all internally minded practitioners. In particular, we want to share it with the younger colleagues and are looking forward to repeating a second screening in Milan after the Summer.”
