
SCC welcomes new Board Members
The SCC is pleased to announce that Jonas Bengtsson, Helena Dandenell and Johan Sidklev will join the SCC Board as new members as of 1 January 2019.
Members of the SCC Board are appointed by the Board of Directors of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
- Jonas Bengtsson, Senior Vice President, Group General Counsel and Head of Corporate Affairs at Telia Company. Jonas has almost 20 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer.
- Helena Dandenell, Partner at Frank. Helenas work is focused on dispute resolution. She has considerable experience as arbitrator and is regularly appointed in institutional and ad hoc proceedings.
- Johan Sidklev, Head of Roschier's Dispute Resolution practice in Sweden. Johan is specialized in commercial dispute resolution with extensive experience from international arbitration, often concerning energy-related disputes with an East-West angle. He is the current President of the Swedish Arbitration Association.
The Board of Directors of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce also re-elected Kaj Hobér, Jakob Ragnwaldh and Charlotta Falkman for one further three-year period.
In addition, Charlotta Falkman and Dmitri Evseev were appointed Vice Chairperson as of 1 January 2019. They will join Jakob Ragnwaldh who is currently acting in this role in the SCC Board.
The SCC Board convenes monthly and plays an active and central role in ensuring the efficient administration of SCC arbitral proceedings. The Board´s mandate includes the appointment of arbitrators, decisions on challenges to arbitrators, jurisdictional determinations, and procedural decisions regarding, for instance, the number of arbitrators and applicable rules.
The new board members assume their mandate on 1 January 2019.
