Latin American premiere of The Quiet Triumph

The Quiet Triumph: How Arbitration Changed the World will be screened for the first time in Latin America. The screening will be in San Salvador on 24 November 2017.

After screenings in more than ten cities around the world, the world tour of The Quiet Triumph: How Arbitration Changed the World continues. The Latin American premiere will be in San Salvador in El Savador on 24 November 2017.

The event takes the theme of Arbitration and Peace and is co-organized by Herman M. Duarte, founding partner with HDuarte-Lex and Manuela de la Helguera, international associate at Wiss & Partners LLP, together with partners. Both Mr Duarte and Ms de la Helguera are alumni of Master of International Commercial Arbitration Law program at Stockholm University. 

Mr Duarte told the SCC:

“El Salvador is an amazing country where sadly you can breathe the atmosphere of social injustice, that's why the event is a significant way to promote the use of ADR, in particular abitration as a way of to promote a culture of peace in our society.”

Meanwhile, Ms de la Helguera, told the SCC:

"We are excited that El Salvador will be the first country in Latin America to screen “The Quiet Triumph”. In the midst of the 25th Anniversary of the Salvadoran Peace Accords, this film reminds us the important role of arbitration in promoting peace.”
