Invitation: Arbitration and mediation to resolve human rights disputes

The Swedish Branch of the International Law Association (ILA) and the SCC invite to a seminar on how to adapt arbitration and mediation for business and human rights disputes. Among the speakers are Professor Ove Bring and Professor Catherine Kessedjian.

The event will take place in the evening of 14 December 2017 at the SCC's premises in Stockholm. Catherine Kessedjian, Professor Emerita at the  Université Panthéon-Assas Paris II will be the guest speaker and speak about arbitration and mediation as options to resolve human rights disputes. The discussion will be moderated by Ove Bring, President of the Swedish Branch of the ILA and professor of law at Stockholm University and at Swedish National Defence College. 

In March this year, SCC also co-hosted a seminar with the Swedish Branch of the ILA in which experts in the panel proposed new arbitration rules for business-related human rights disputes. Read more about the seminar here.
