Competition opens: Stockholm Treaty Lab Prize
The Stockholm Treaty Lab Prize is now open for registration. Enter the competition through the HeroX website.
Registration is open until 1 September 2017, and the deadline for submission is on 1 December 2017. In running the competition, Stockholm Treaty Lab Prize collaborates with HeroX, a crowdsourcing platform where thousands of innovators compete to solve different challenges. Both registration and submission can be done through the Stockholm Treaty Lab page on HeroX website.
The jury consists of experts in international law, climate science and economics such as David Rivkin, Immediate Past President of the International Bar Association, SCC Secretary General Annette Magnusson, Michael Lazarus, Center Director of the Stockholm Environmental Institute Seattle Office and Per Klevnäs, partner at Material Economics.
The Prize amounts to broad exposure for the winning model treaty, and an opportunity for the treaty drafters (the winning team) to engage in this important question on a global level. The winning submission will be presented to high-level stakeholders in a global forum. The value of the Prize is estimated at USD 30,000.
