Working session with the IBA in Washington
During the IBA Annual Conference in Washington D.C. next month, IBA is arranging a working session entitled “Resolving Investor-State Disputes Through Mediation: Past, Present and Future of the IBA Rules on Investor-State Mediation”.
The session will focus on the IBA Rules for Investor-State Mediation and other aspects of alternative dispute resolutions in the field of state-investor disputes. The objective is to increase awareness of the existence of the rules and to take stock of the rules in light of actual experience using them in investment disputes.
Kristin Campbell-Wilson, Deputy Secretary General SCC, will be there and share SCC’s experience of investor-state disputes and how the IBA rules can work in an institutional context.
The seminar will take place on Wednesday 21 September at 2:30 pm.
