SCC address emergency arbitration in Rome

On 29 September, SCC legal counsel Natalia Petrik will speak about emergency proceedings under the SCC Rules at an afternoon seminar focusing on Emergency arbitration.

The seminar "Emergency arbitration: theory and practise" is organised by the Associated Law Firm Association(ASLA), and will be held in Rome on 29 September. The first session will revolve around how, when and why emergency relief measures are used, and issues of enforcement of emergency decisions. In session two, three major arbitral institutions – SCC ICC and ICDR – will present their rules on Emergency Arbitration, and share experiences and practical cases.

Speakers at the event include Christian P. Alberti, Laura Bergamini, Andrea CarlevarisMichelangelo Cicogna, Benedetta Coppo, Maria Beatrice Deli, Giacomo Rojas ElguetaDiana Paraguacuto-Maheo, Edoardo Marcenaro, and Natalia Petrik.

The event is part of a training program organized by the University of Roma Tre, AIA, the ICC and the CAM. The seminar is free of charge and is followed by a cocktail.
