Minsk 18 March: Risk managements in supply disputes
How is a dispute resolution clause negotiated in an international supply contract? And how is an arbitration process commenced at the SCC? These and other questions will be addressed at a seminar organized in Minsk on 18 March.
Supply contracts represent the most popular form of international business co-operation. They amount to a lion share of international caseload of the leading arbitral institutions, the SCC not being an exception. In particular, 70 – 80% of disputes involving Belarus parties arise out of delivery of goods, components and raw materials.
This seminar will address typical problems and will provide answers to common questions arising in the course of SCC arbitrations involving Belarus parties.
The seminar will be followed by a reception at the Swedish Embassy in Minsk where the participants will receive the book “Arbitration in Sweden” that was recently published in Russian.
The seminar is organized by the Embassy of Sweden in Minsk and the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce in assistance with the Law Office “Sysouev, Bondar, Khrapoutski SBH” and “Jurist” magazine.
