FIAM Pre-Moot for the first time in Sweden
For the first time, a Pre-Moot for the international arbitration competition Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court (FIAM) will be organized in Sweden.
FIAM is an international student competition focusing on investment protection. The Moot involves a fictitious dispute (case study) arising out of international investment protection law and provisions of a Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT). The SCC will once again sponsor the international competition that takes place in Frankfurt on 9-13 March 2015.

20 February: Pre-Moot conference at the premises of the SCC
Place: Brunnsgatan 2, Stockholm.
The participating teams are greeted at a welcome seminar at the premises of the SCC, followed by a reception hosted by Mannheimer Swartling.

21 February: Pre-Moot at Uppsala University
Six teams from different parts of the world will participate in the Uppsala Pre-Moot.

The SCC is the second largest institution in the world for the administration of investor-state disputes under its own rules. In addition, the SCC is one of three possible fora for investment disputes in the multilateral investment protection agreement, the Energy Charter Treaty (ECT).
