SCC Arbitrator's Guidelines updated

The SCC has published a revised version of its Arbitrator's Guidelines. The guidelines serve as a practical tool and source of information for arbitrators when conducting arbitrations under the arbitration rules adopted by the SCC.

The revised version includes clarifications regarding, e.g. the appointment of an administrative secretary, costs of hearings, and the distribution of awards. 

Furthermore, the guidelines contain important changes regarding VAT, expenses and the settlement of account.

Arbitrators in on-going, as well as future, SCC arbitrations are strongly recommended to familiarize themselves with the guidelines.
