Initiation of mediation under the SCC Mediation Rules

Request for mediation

A request for mediation shall be submitted to the SCC by the parties jointly or by one of them.

The request shall be in writing and include:

  1. a statement of the names, addresses, telephone and facsimile numbers and email addresses of the parties and their counsel,
  2. a summary of the dispute,and
  3. a statement whether the parties have agreed to mediate the dispute

Where a request for mediation is submitted by one party only, the SCC shall communicate the request to the other party who shall be asked to state whether or not it agrees to participate in the mediation.

The Request for mediation may be sent by mail, fax or e-mail to the SCC Institute.

Registration Fee

Under the SCC Mediation Rules the registration fee amounts to EUR 1,500 (VAT not included). Registration fee (VAT included) is EUR 1,875.

 

Companies with their seat outside of Sweden do not pay VAT on SCC registration fees. The registration fee should be paid to the account below:
