Seminar in Moscow on the new SCC Arbitration Rules

In February 2017, the Embassy of Sweden in Moscow and the SCC will hold a seminar on making arbitration user-friendly. The seminar will focus on how the new tools and procedures in the new SCC Arbitration Rules will facilitate for the users.

SCC Secretary General, Annette Magnusson, will moderate the discussion on how users’ expectations for fast and efficient procedure better will be met by the new rules.  

The essence of an SCC arbitration will be maintained but there are a number of noteworthy revisions and innovations in the new SCC Arbitration Rules. The new version of the SCC Arbitration Rules will enter into force on 1 January 2017. The main changes of the new rule can be found here

The opening address will be held by the Ambassador of Sweden to the Russian Federation, Peter Ericson, and Annette Magnusson.

Please note that the draft rules published hereby are not the final version of the 2017 SCC Rules. Linguistic adjustments may be made to these drafts rules before they enter into force on 1 January 2017.  In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the draft rules published hereby and version published as of 1 January 2017, the version published as of 1 January 2017 shall prevail.
