SCC welcomes the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge

SCC Chairperson Kaj Hobér and SCC Secretary General Annette Magnusson welcome the initiative to enhance diversity in international arbitration, and have jointly signed the pledge to take action for equal representation in arbitration.

The Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge is a call for the international arbitration community to commit to increase, on an equal opportunity basis, the number of women appointed as arbitrators. It aims to achieve fair representation as soon as practically possible, with the ultimate goal of full parity.

The official launch of the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge will take place in London on 18 May 2016.
