China Roadshow commenced in Beijing

SCC Deputy Secretary General Kristin Campbell-Wilson is currently travelling in China together with representatives for Setterwall Law and CIETAC. During four days, the delegation will visit Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, where local law firms, arbitrators and students have been invited to seminars and lectures on Chinese and Swedish arbitration.

Yesterday SCC Deputy Secretary General Kristin Campbell-Wilson met with friends and colleagues from CIETAC, including Secretary General Mr Yu Jianlong and Deputy Secretary General and SCC Board member Dr. Li Hu, and Setterwalls Law Firm for the arrangement of a half day seminar on Swedish and Chinese arbitration at the Kempinsky Hotel in Beijing. The audience, mainly consisted of corporate lawyers and practicing arbitrators, was presented a history and update of the close relation between the SCC, China and Chinese parties, as well as the special features of Swedish arbitration, news and hot topics related to Chinese arbitration.
